Dexter meets Stephen

Like I said in an earlier post, fall is the new spring. These new babies certainly make me feel the change all the more. New life, new potential.

Below are the oh-so-adorable pictures of Dexter meeting his little cousin Stephen for the first time. I just love the wonder in his face and the wide-eyed look he is giving Terry his uncle. What in the world is Dexter thinking when he looks at this new little baby? He really hasn't seen a little guy like that before. I just love it. I can't wait for Dexter to become more and more aware of everything around him so I can experience his awe and wonder with him. Watching him explore his world has already put so much more life back into our extended family. It is as though these new lives bring new hope as we all look at things again with fresh eyes.

So, let's follow Dexter's lead and be amazed at the little miracles right in front of us today.
