No More Summer SAD

SAD stands for Seasonal Affected Disorder. Here is how the Mayo Clinic defines SAD:

I can't open the door of my car without singing my eyebrows, and don't even get me started on what grocery shopping trips look like with a toddler in tow. I am housebound and hot. This is why all major wars break out at the end of the summer - people just can't take it anymore!

So yesterday, when it was 61F in the morning (GLORIOUS!), and I had to put Dexter in a jacket -- it was as though the light shone brighter, the air was sweeter, and I realized life was worth living after all...ok, maybe I am getting a tad dramatic. But just a tad.
