Thankful for Take Out!

It has been one of those weeks.  Nothing devastating has happened, but the nights without sleep, the sick kids, the fussy toddler, the pile of laundry and dishes that just never seem to disappear, last minute trips to the doctor...all of that can add up to a long, long week.  So, when a friend dropped Zoe's kitchen on the porch today and I was able to nap with the kids and wake up to hot food on my porch -- it really was too good to be true. 

Sure, we could have scrounged a sandwich together or even egg in the hole, but to not have to prep or clean a single dish and have food for everyone that included items from the whole food pyramid (not just the carb side!), it really was a blessing.

We were never meant to go this alone guys.  It is days like today that I am so thankful for friends, for the brokenness I've had to be able to say "yes" when someone offers (isn't that half the battle??), and thankful for Zoe's Kitchen...yum!
