I have a temp job!!

I am about to join the working world! I was called on Friday by one of the agencies I am working for with a temporary position at Qserve, a coiled tubing, pumping, slickline, wireline and well services company. Sounds fabulous doesn't it? I said no at first because it is about a 15min drive south of here (a long way for Scotland) and made the excuse that it wasn't enough money. The recruitment agency asked what I would do it for so I picked a really big amount. The recruitment agency said, "well, you can always ask can't you?" I didn't get a call back all day so I thought I was in the clear as I had a few things planned for the coming week, but nope, at almost 5pm she called and said I got it for the amount I asked for. So here I am off to my first job at a really high amount per hour. I am a little worried I won't live up to that high standard, but you can always try, right?

So, fingers crossed as my days as a lady of leisure are at an end.
