My Adventurous Son

So, I hear water running yesterday and what do I go in to find? Yep...this:

He was beyond pleased with himself and was all grins that he found a way to get himself a drink of water.  I explained he could only do it when mommy was there and next time he did wait for me to come in.  I have no expectation in the world that will stop him in the future...I'll just be sure and not be far away! 

I also caught this on my phone's camera today.  He LOVES the drill and he got to help daddy run down the battery this afternoon after installing the 2 mobiles in the nursery (can't wait to show you the finished room later this week!

For a toddler boy, water, power tools, and daddy are the recipe for the perfect day.
