Stop Me Before I Volunteer Again

 

A friend who knows me well bought me a great housewarming gift today! Isn't this mug hilarious? I have to say, I have always loved these 50's women with witty comments whether they be on napkins, magnets, or cards. I like this mug so much I am trying to decide if I should just use it for my daily tea, or if I should plant a little something in it and keep it on the windowsill above my sink. It is such a great reminder!

Now, it is a little tongue in cheek as I of course think volunteering is wonderful and an important part of a meaningful life, but there are times that the volunteering options seem endless, even when your available time seems less and less (any other moms of little ones with me on this one?). 

So, as my friend who gave me this always says, "do less with excellence".  Great motto...so someone needs to stop me if I volunteer for too much again!  = )
