Relief Team A and Paternity Leave

Monday, August 1

Relief Team A (A for Andrews!) was made up of my mom and some help by my older and younger sisters.  My mom arrived the day I gave birth, and only just left Saturday (with a brief time back in Fort Worth with Dexter).  Thankfully she was here through the roughest part of recovery...you know moms, the part no one tells you about when you are pregnant the first time. = ) Thankfully I am recovering much better than I did with Dexter, probably due in large part to the awesome help I've had and that I know better than to push myself this time.

Dexter of course loved having Mimi here and has been asking for her, saying, "I miss Mimi" since she left. Thankfully we have Relief Team R (R for Ray!) coming Sunday! Tootsie, aka Sander's mom Tonya, will be here for a week and we are looking forward to her help a lot.

This week, Sander is taking his paternity leave and hanging out with us. Dexter and Sander went out to the Guild Shop and picked up the side table we bought Saturday and then went to Ikea to pick up the long-awaited Expedit bookshelf for the play area in the den.

Seriously, how cute are these pictures of them putting the shelf together? Dexter is giving a running commentary on every step they take and Sander is letting Dexter help a lot.  Have to say that I'm lucky I saw this guy coming when I was only 19...
