Painting the Baby's Room

We finally decided what color to paint the baby's room and had the time and energy (me!) to do it! I edged sitting down and then took my time with the top sections. It took me about twice as long as it should have, but I was able to do it. YIPPIE! What a huge praise that I am doing so much better. The funny thing is it wasn't the contractions holding me back - I didn't have a single one (!!!) - it was the standing. Being on bed rest for over 2 months has really sapped me of any endurance. Even standing and painting was sapping my energy. Plus, the baby is encroaching on my lung space making breathing harder and harder...

But, I shouldn't complain. I am SO excited to have it done!!!!!

Stay tuned for a full view of the nursery in a week or so, complete with painted dresser, crib bedding, and curtains!
