Update II

Here is the dresser we're using in the baby's room that will double as a changing table. We forgot to get better before pictures, so here are some "mid" pictures. It was white, teal, and natural wood with cigarette burns and various scratches.

We sanded it all down and began to paint over the teal frame.

The two top drawers are curved and really make the piece unique. It has a great shape and should look really cool in the end.

We're painting it light blue with a darker blue wash. Directions found here: Romantic Home
