Houston Zoo

Dex and I headed out to the Houston Zoo yesterday with Elizabeth and Marisa and their little boys. The weather was fabulous and the azaleas were in full bloom. It was stunning and I realized how much fun the zoo always has been. I haven't been in at least 10-15 years, so I enjoyed seeing all the animals, even if Dex wasn't too interested.

The way they have the giraffes it looks like the are able to just walk over and eat from your hand. Thankfully they do have a big ravine that keeps them in bounds. I wonder how modern this pen is? Joshus giraffe, HA HA, Joshua, Joshua...
