Montessori Mother's Day

I forgot my camera in the car at the Earth Day celebration, but not so for the Mother's Day celebration (which was on Dexter's actual birthday, by the way).

This is Dexter's class reciting a poem they memorized.  Each class memorized a different poem and shared it with the moms.  The look on Dexter's face when he saw Maxwell and I were in the crowd was priceless.  You could see he was worried, "is she here?" Then once he spotted me he lit up!

Then we got to plant a special flower together in a pot Dexter had decorated. 

Here he is with a friend from class.

 

He was so proud!
