Moving...in stages

Moving out was a process that happened over several days. Dexter insisted on helping anytime he was close to Sander. He would say, "Dexter - Help!" and point at himself. We gave him this smaller empty box to carry back and forth and that seemed to do the trick.

We hired professional help for the really heavy items like my sewing machine and the solid wood dresser that all went upstairs. I thought it would just take the movers an hour or so as their were so few items left, but they were very careful and the stuff was heavier than I thought. Oh well. It is all moved in now and we are feathering the nest this weekend.

More pictures from the past week are coming and then I will post some current pictures of what the house looks like now the painting is done.
