Rug Rescue

I had some serious help a few weeks ago from Taylor and Melissa. They showed up at my house two days in a row to clean my nasty, sad rug. They hauled it out to the fence -- no small feat -- and scrubbed it with vinegar, baking soda, oxyclean and a semi-power washer. They were awesome and my rug looks fabulous now. I was about to throw it away as it just seemed beyond salvaging. After it was clean, I sprayed it with 2.5 cans of scotch guard (should have done that to start with...) and now hope it can stand up a little better to the wear and tear of living in my house.
