Night-night Cars and Prayers

Dexter likes to put his cars "night-night" when we leave or before he goes down for a nap or bed himself.  He tells each one goodnight, and some he even kisses, as he lays them on their side.  Sometimes, as we drive home, he starts saying "wake up" as he gets excited about waking up his cars as soon as he comes home.

Tonight Dexter has been talking to himself and just generally flumping around not going to sleep.  Then we heard this: "Shelby, Wyatt, Mommy, Daddy, baby, cars, highway, toys, ice cream (followed by licking noises), all done, aaaaa-men".  Sander came running back asking if I heard him.  He continues to repeat the list, almost in the same identical order 4-5 more times.  Sander said it was the exact list that they had prayed through, on Dexter's lead, at bedtime.  Ahhhhh....it is so cute!!!  I can't wait to have another baby if this is what it produces. 

So friends, remind me when I say I haven't slept more than 3 consecutive hours in 3 months, that this is what all that effort produces.
